What are common mistakes to avoid in wood carving

Здравствуйте! Wood carving can be tricky, but common mistakes can be avoided. From my perspective, using dull tools, ignoring wood grain direction, and rushing are big no-nos. Always use sharp tools, follow the grain, and take your time. Oh, and softer woods like basswood are great for beginners! Happy carving!!!
